Trouble with the EM55 at Hadersdorf/Kamp, Lower Austria, in 2019

Here is a short posting with two year old pictures of the EM55-type interlocking machine at Hadersdorf/Kamp in Lower Austria. I had visited my mother, and before leaving from Hadersdorf, I looked into the traffic bureau. There, two signal technicians had worked for more than six hours on locating a problem with a signal, with—at the time of my visit—no tangible result. One of the two graciously took photos with his smartphone, which you can see below:

The interlocking is still operational as of today, but its end of life will come in 2022 or 2023 at the latest.
